About us – Palazzo Losio Dimora degli scrittori

Palazzo Losio is a historic residence in the heart of the Monferrato hills, where heritage, literature, and hospitality come together. Carefully restored with respect for its original architecture, the property combines timeless charm with modern comfort, creating a unique retreat surrounded by nature. More than just a place to stay, it is a living house of culture, hosting writers, culinary experiences, and meaningful encounters throughout the year.

Marina Miroglio & Bruno Marguerite

Marina Miroglio, originally from Monferrato, who moved to Paris in the 1980s, and Bruno Marguerite, a Parisian writer.

After discovering Palazzo Losio by chance in 2022, we fell in love with it and decided to spend part of the year in this timeless residence.

A historic home brought back to life

We have restored and decorated some of the apartments with passion and attention to the smallest details, respecting the style of the Palace while adding all modern comforts, in order to create refined and welcoming spaces.

A house of books and literature

Bruno, passionate about literature and antique books, writer and collection director at Éditions Unicité, wanted books to be present everywhere along the walls of the apartments. In the large apartment on the first floor, around fifty names of Piedmontese, Italian, and international writers follow one another, written on the floor.

Each year, writers are invited to stay and to lead book readings and conferences. For several months of the year, the apartments are transformed into “Writers’ Residences.” From this comes the name “Palazzo Losio – Dimora degli scrittori.”
